It's really about time "Staircase" got an official release. Ever since it premiered on the From the Basement sessions early this summer, many wondered if there'd ever be a studio version of this spectacular piece, and whether it would live up to the original. Turns out Radiohead didn't think they could do a better job either.

Bradford Cox assembles the colors and instrumentation of a band, but the dry mix shrouds Parallax in eerie solitude.

Wow! Whoever made this video must be high (no pun intended). Launching a video camera to space with a weather balloon is most definitely an awesome way to start a jam.
